A compulsive curator and multi-spirited entrepreneur, Alex brings a marketing degree from the University of Miami and more than 16 years of experience in the lifestyle, art, and hospitality sectors to his role at Superfine Art Fair.

A guiding force in the curatorial style and business approach of all Superfine fairs, Alex is also a major collector of contemporary art, (partially recovering) social media addict, published writer, and film producer. From home base in NYC, Alex, James, and the team have launched Superfine fairs in six US cities and growing each year.

James Miille

CO-FOUNDER | MANAGING PARTNER

James Miille brings a profound aesthetic sense and keen eye to all things Superfine. Responsible for everything from web development and curatorial oversight to managing relationships with Superfine’s artist roster, James is a multi-faceted personality who adds detailed visual narrative to an organization rooted in the visual.

James is also a top-selling photographer based in NYC. His artwork is frequently featured in publications such as Architectural Digest, Hi-Fructose Magazine, and Artnet and has also been exhibited in solo exhibitions in New York, Miami, and Paris. He specializes in making ordinary objects float – and yes, he does in fact have two i's in his last name.

Sharone
Halevy

CURATOR

Sharone Halevy is a self-taught abstract expressionist painter, illustrator, and theater maker, and she creates commission-based works inspired by clients’ stories and music. Dedicated to empowering others to share their art confidently, Sharone has held residencies and shows in Iceland, Finland, New York, and the Amazon, and developed residencies and educational programs across NYC. Involved with Superfine Fairs since 2021, she is excited to enhance each fair for artists and visitors alike.

Chudler

Jessi joins Superfine with Bachelor’s degrees in Art History, International Studies, and Spanish. She is passionate about the art world, especially in advocating for emerging artists and collectors to make their mark on the industry. Jessi is focused on client management and sales, aiming to create impactful and lasting partnerships between artists and their communities. Apart from attending Art Fairs you can find Jessi volunteering at her local animal shelter, surfing, and hiking the West Coast mountains.

Carolina
Ulloa

Carolina Ulloa brings extensive expertise in client relationship management and a lifelong passion for the arts, which began with creative projects in high school. In her current role, she oversees a diverse portfolio of enterprise clients, collaborates with Sales and Marketing teams to strengthen partnerships with top brands, and develops innovative go-to-market strategies to address complex business challenges. Carolina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Psychology and is fluent in Spanish.

Deming Harriman is an artist and designer based in New York City. Her work has been published in TASCHEN’s Library of Esoteric series and featured in notable outlets like the Jersey City Times, Washington Post, and Artnet News. Her installations can be found on Royal Caribbean cruise ships and at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in NY. As a Superfine exhibitor alum, she provides valuable firsthand insights in her role as Artist Liaison for the Superfine Team.

Portwood

TRAVELING AMBASSADOR

Diane Portwood is a mixed media artist with nearly a decade of experience on the art fair circuit. Fully embracing a nomadic lifestyle, she travels the country in her self-converted art camper van, which serves as both her studio and home. Having exhibited with Superfine fairs across the nation, Diane’s connection to the community and its mission led her to join the Superfine team. She now brings her unique perspective as an artist to help make the fair experience even better for artists and attendees alike.

Andrew
Rutledge

FRACTIONAL CFO

Andrew Rutledge is a fractional CFO with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy across multiple industries. He holds a degree in finance and is passionate about ensuring the company’s financial health while guiding long-term decision-making. Outside of finance, Andrew is a musician and singer-songwriter. He began curating his own art collection in 2021 and enjoys traveling and spending his time with family and friends.

Hightman

Hannah Hightman is a journalist, author, and creative with a passion for storytelling in its many forms. She earned her MA in Creative Publishing & Critical Journalism from The New School in 2022 and has professional experience as a copywriter, specializing in crafting engaging content. Hannah is the managing editor of Odradek, an annual arts publication dedicated to exploring uncanny life through thought-provoking works.

Pinkney

MARKETING

Jacob Pinkney, a seasoned full-stack marketer with a global impact, brings forth a wealth of experience driving results for diverse brands. He holds a Bachelors in Communications from Howard University and a Master’s in Strategic Communications from Florida International University. His passions include a love for art, travel, and the joy of discovering new and exciting foods!

Rick
Odria

GRAPHIC DESIGN

Rick Odria, a graphic artist based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, refined his design skills at Becker College in Worcester, MA, before founding his skateboard and apparel brand in 2007. As the creative force behind Pink Hippo Creative, Rick has collaborated with notable clients such as musician Kevin Rudolf and retail brand PacSun. Beyond design, Rick channels his passion into a music project, enjoys playing hockey, and cherishes time with his fiancé and two cherished pets—a potbellied pig and a rescue puppy.

Andrea
Caldarise

ENGAGEMENT & PARTNERSHIPS

Andrea is a painter and arts consultant with 10 years of experience in NYC arts programming. She holds a BFA from Tyler School of Art and an MA in Arts Administration from UPenn. Caldarise has worked with institutions like the New Museum, NYU, and Governors Island, and has exhibited her work nationally. Recently, she completed a chaNorth, Chashama Residency and received the FST Studio Grant for her Brooklyn studio. If she’s not in the studio, she’s exploring a park somewhere!
