BUIlding A Better art market

Superfine! was created by an artist and an entrepreneur in 2015 as a reaction to what we saw in the art market -- inflated prices, sluggish sales, and a widening valley between an ever-growing art-appreciating public and an insular art world positioned far outside of their price range and comfort zone.

Through a two year mission to bring joy and excitement back to the art of collecting art, we've achieved a balance that enables exhibitors to experience brisk sales while affording collectors at all stages and levels the ability to take home work that they love, within their budget. In the process, our core team have become avid art collectors - living by the maxim of supporting both living, working artists, and those who champion them. With the support of our devoted exhibitors, collectors, and progressive journalists, we've created not just another art fair, but a brand new art market whose success rests on the shoulders of not just a select few, but all who take pleasure in supporting talented, passionate artists.

THE evolution

Born from Miami Art Week but constantly evolving, our third full-scale fair and inaugural New York rendition this past May broke the mold of what a curated, accessibly-priced art fair entails both for our exhibitors (who, admittedly, are more like family than clients) and the art-loving public that we serve. With over 8,000,000 digital and physical impressions, 3,500 art lovers in the flesh who embarked through rain and sleet to discover new works, and $400,000+ in total artwork sales, Superfine! NYC was an unquestionable success.

In December 2017, Superfine! will return to the heart of Midtown Miami during Miami Art Week/Art Basel week as Miami's newly minted favorite art fair (ranked by the Miami New Times). This is a key time for art that affords our exhibitors access to not only Miami's burgeoning collector community but also to nearly 100,000 international collectors and art world movers/shakes driven to sun-drenched Miami and the Beaches by the promise of top art talent. We'll return to New York's Meatpacking District in May 2018 during Frieze Art Week for another banner year, and we've also got our first Washington D.C. fair on tap for October 2018 along with Los Angeles in January 2019 in the DTLA Art District.

We can't wait to see you in Miami this December, and encourage you to take a moment to click below for a sneak preview of what a Superfine! fair entails.
